Classes
What happens?
Each class begins with Chi Kung, which are stretching, breathing and
meditation exercises. We then start the actual Tai Chi, Yang short form,
learning a new section every week until completion. While still practising
this form, we progress through the schools syllabus.
What can I learn?
Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on which way you look at it,
Tai Chi is a very deep and sophisticated art. Your learning never ends as
you progress.
When students have completed the Yang short form, we progress through a
comprehensive syllabus to learn the other Tai Chi styles and sets, which
include self defence applications, fan, pole, sword and push hands. We also
learn the two other internal arts – Bagua and Hsing Yi.
